Rubes Triva Foundation and its mission   Italiano

The Rubes Triva Foundation, in compliance with the principles set out in the Italian Constitution, promotes both training and information initiatives aimed at protecting the psycho-physical integrity of the person in the sector of health and safety in the workplace, assisting the Environmental Hygiene companies in adoption of strategies aimed at spreading the culture of prevention.

The evaluation of the economic impact of security goes beyond the mere analysis of the insurance cost for accidents and put in the foreground the social costs of safety which, as emerged from the most recent surveys, are four times higher than insurance costs.
The workplace has an important human dimension in addition to the economic one, therefore measures to combat accidents cannot be considered additional costs.

From this perspective adequate training and information on risks is essential also aimed at the active and participatory involvement of workers. The instructions contained in the Consolidated Act of safety at work, Legislative Decree 81/2008 amended and supplemented by Legislative Decree 106/2009, make the protection and prevention of health and safety in the workplace more effective.
